Impacts of Paediatric Acquired Brain Injury on speech and language, quality of life, mental health, and school/community participation
I am collaborating with Curtin speech pathologists (A/Prof Anne Whitworth, Dr Mary Claessen) and staff at Princess Margaret Hospital to investigate the impacts of paediatric brain injury on speech and language and relationships with quality of life, mental health, and school/community participation. This research aims to identify risk and protective factors associated with psychosocial outcomes in paediatric ABI and develop and test interventions to improve psychosocial outcomes in the context of paediatric ABI.
